Farmer Cooper and Zoo Boo!

Friday night, Cooper and I went Trick-or-treating with Kelley and Taylor. Cooper was the the front man....he knocked and said "trick-or-treat", then Taylor went for the candy.

Last weekend we went to Zoo Boo. Cooper had a blast!!
As you can see, there is no question about who he looks like.....

St. Jude Marathon

On December 6, I will be walking/running (more walking) the St. Jude Half-Marathon in Memphis with one of my former students and St. Jude patient Samantha Elliott. Sami is a very unique girl with tons of personality and fight! What can I say???? She has inspired me to try the half marathon and that is a feat. If anyone would like to donate money to St. Jude in honor of her marathon team, type the following address in and follow the instructions. All donations are tax deductible.

Happy Birthday Punky!!!

Today, my not so little boy, turns 2 years old. Last night, as I lay down with him for the normal "I am not going to sleep routine", it hit me that he was no longer a baby and the tears started to flow. Don't get me wrong.....I don't miss the mid-night feedings or the rocking at all hours of the night, but I do miss the total dependence my now very independent boy had for his mommy. He might not be a baby anymore, but I am pretty sure that he will always be a Moma's boy....

This is a picture of the Elmo cake that we took to daycare for his birthday. I believe his exact words were, "Wow....Elmo!" and the expression was priceless. Let the B'day festivities begin. Tonight, Meme's....Tomorrow, Punkin' Patch Party. I will post more pictures.

Mommy's Truck

Funny story....Michaela and I switched vehicles yesterday because she and Jared wanted to move some things to their new house. When I picked Cooper up in Michaela's car, he had a meltdown. "Mommy's Truck" was the first words out of his mouth when we walked outside. Needless to say, I had to bribe him into the carseat with a trip to McDonald's for french fries.
YEAH FRENCH FRIES!!!

A coach that can talk and gets excited.....

Hotty Toddy!! The first Rebel game was a blast and I am so excited we have a coach that gets fired up and that we can understand. Guess what else? We won! Melissa and Kevin decided to bring Maycee to her first football game and tailgate in the grove. She is such a cute Rebel cheerleader!
